Cathy Mitchell

Cathy Mitchell developed an interest in real estate from a young age, having grown up watching her father's business in real estate and development.  After a successful career in medical sales and sales management, Cathy rekindled her childhood dream and embarked on her own career in real estate.

Cathy had a specific interest in promoting waterfront developments in the Austin, TX market in which she lived.  In 1988, Cathy partnered with Turnquist Partners Realtors, a luxury boutique real estate brokerage (now Engels and Voelkers Austin.)  She quickly established her reputation as a top producing agent, listing and selling custom and spec homes and both Lake Travis and Lake Austin.

Turnquist recognized Cathy's leadership skills and she was promoted first to branch office sales manager before taking on a larger role as the regional Director of Training for agents in four Turnquist Austin branch locations.

In 2018, Cathy returned to her roots in Murray, KY, where she was born and raised. Cathy quickly reconnected with her strong local network and her first hand knowledge of the social, cultural and education benefits that Murray affords.

Cathy lives waterfront on Kentucky Lake and continues to specialize in luxury lakefront living, while at the same time serving a wide variety of clients with both residential and commercial real estate needs.
